Beauties,

So, this JFA show had stalls for beauty, accesories, hand bags , home decor and so much more! We went crazeeee. My husband would get bored if he accompanied us ; glad I went with my girl friends :)

Jewellry :)

Bracelets are amazing, very inexpensive and in so many variety of colors , designs , sizes and shapes. Creating different looks on a same outfit with different kinds of accessories is definitely going to be a great challenge.

 The bracelet on the left is basically a cuff kinda thing, with white and bronze beads. Will add a nice look to my indian outfits :)

 The handbag is one of my favourites. Am trying to increase my handbag collection. Stylish, affordable and casual zip design going on all over. Wear it on your arm, wrist or attach the long handle and wear it on your shoulder

 Finally, the pandora kinda bracelet with beads that were sold separately. My favourite find and am so excited. Thanks for your time :)

CVS and Bed bath n beyond haul :) :P

Oh my goodness, youtube was splashed with videos of milani and how CVS was having them for 75% off sale. Ofcourse , I went in a little too late. But, did manage to pick up some good stuff. I had my eye on their bronzers and blushes and ofcourse the minky pinky lipstick too.

The bronzer might not be my correct shade. It is a shade in medium tan. The Minky pinky lipstick is perfect , so is the glitzy glamor gloss. Although,am not a fan of that fruity smell. The wet n wild blush is amazing, and am actually wearing it in my video. Looks great!!

Bed bath and beyond is amazing. My main item would be the secret cami, 3 for 10$, is a great price and comes in handy with V t shirts. Aveeno shampoo is just awesome. If you have dry/damaged hair, this is just perfect for you. Cotton rounds are good for makeup removing or also for applying my clinique cleanser in night. Hair clips and loreal color riche gloss in rich plum were extras that caught my eye.
All in all, money well spent is what I can say :)

Yayyy Haul time :)

So, this haul is an online haul from ELF . eyeslipsface is my favorite brand because their products are inexpensive and can be compared to high end products from Nars and Urban decay. I had my eye on some of their mineral and studio line products. Signing up for their newsletter actually keeps me upto date with all the offers they currently have.

The mineral eye shadow primer and their complexion perfection powder have great reviews splashed all over youtube. The cream eye shadow duo for a dollar each might not be so great, but I still wanted to try them out. I love their high definition powder. Absolutely smooth finish, gives an instant glow on application. Not happy about the white puff, better apply it with a powder brush. Powder is very fine.

Finally, the makeup beauty clutch. Perfect for a beginner, good range of colors and pigmentation is good for the price. Have a blending brush from their studio or dollar line, a primer and you are all set. Icing on the cake is 6 choices of lipsticks, two blushes a bronzer , eyebrow powder and cream and face shimmer.

All in all, a perfect haul. I think am done shopping for now :)

Nail polishes and swatches~~

Lakme nail polishes are my favorite brand, but sad part is I dont have them here in the USA. Street wear, Elle , Revlon are some other brands that are available in India. I dont own any OPI's yet, but defnly china glaze nail polishes are a cheaper substitute and are already in my 'must-have' list.

Elf haul : Review & giveaway

Eyeslipsface is an inexpensive drugstore company that came up with their dollar each lipsticks and lipglosses collection. So , I wanted to get my hands on them! I purchased about four lipsticks : Posh, Sociable, Captivating and Nostalgic.  The hypershine lipgloss is in Flirt and the luscious liquid lipsticks are Baby lips in nude and Ruby slipper in burgundy shade. Absolutely gorgeous to look at. Must say, good for just a dollar.

               I also bought the much talked about mineral face infused primer and tinted moisturizer in sand . The primer is very smooth and silky feel in finish. Favourites for Jan 2012

So, this is my take for jan favorites for the year 2012. I am obsessed with clinique products these days and have been enjoying their 7day scrub cream and spot corrector gel. Let me tell you, using the 7day scrub cream for all 7days will peel your skin off if you have dry skin like mine. But I was sensible enough to use it once a week or once in ten days. The spot corrector gel burns on application but has worked wonders. I left it on before sleeping and I did see a difference. The red zit was very dry the next day and peeled off completely the day after!!
                          
                 Coming to my eye products, I am in love with a $1 eye liner called Incolor fabuliner that has a sketch pen for application . You can play around with it for winged look too. Mascara is high impact in black by clinique. Like I said, am obsessed with clinique these days :) 



And the lips ~~ Fall to spring transition has compelled me to use bright red lipsticks with long stay from covergirl outlast and maybelline :) Absolutely in love with them. Bright red lips are so captivating and an instant attraction. You can glam up a dull outfit with just a pair of red lips.
